i never knew any of my grandparents.
-mom's mom died when my mom was only 9 days old.
-mom's dad died when I was about 1 year old.
-dad's mom died before I was born.
-dad's dad died before I was born.
Being a grandma myself now, I can see I missed out on a special kind of relationship. I had never really thought or cared about this before I had my granddaughters. Oh well...

Sometimes I'm jealous of Lynn. She's old enough that she can remember my great grandparents.
