I really love being a grandma. Tonight I had a fun date with Addy. Andy, Steve and Chelsea went to a concert, so I got to have some time with Addy. We played dress up, went for a walk, rode bikes, played in the sand, rocked and looked at pretty lights while the grasshoppers sang. Then we went for a late night visit to Target. We looked at all the toys until a "scary guy" toy scared the heck out of my baby. We had to hurry and leave! Now I can hear her as she lays in her bed talking herself to sleep. I love being a grandma!

Sounds like a wonderful evening. She woke up this morning telling me all about it. Her favorite part to tell is about the "scary guy" at the store.
