It is funny how a hot pot of bean soup can bring our family together. This time it was my turn to provide it and everyone came over to enjoy a favorite meal together. The recipe is one Miguel grew up loving in El Salvador. Luckily, my son in laws also enjoy eating this yummy soup. It has to cook all day, so by the time it is ready to be eaten all our mouths are watering. Some ripe avocados and sour cream along with fresh made rice equals heaven.
